Training Center
The Iron Workers Local Union 704 Training Center is located at 2701 Belle Arbor Avenue, Chattanooga, TN 37406. Please contact the training center at (423)698-4198 if you are a member of Iron Workers Local 704 and wish to attend any of the available classes listed below. An appointment is necessary for any and all training at this time due to COVID-19.

*CHICKAMAUGA LOCK TRAINING - Please call the training center for dates and times.
*WELD TEST are scheduled on Wednesday's by appointment. Test begins at 7:00 AM SHARP! If you are unable to test on Wednesday please call the training center and make different accommodations.
Make sure to bring YOUR tools to practice and test: Welding hood, gloves, flashlight, wire brush, chipping hammer, small chisels, slag pics, & a small ball peen hammer are required.
IMPORTANT: If you have an AWS welding certification, be sure to keep your “Continuity Log Book” up to date. Don’t forget to mail a copy of the log book to Iron Workers International when you receive a notice of renewal. If you have not received a renewal notice from Iron Workers International at least one month prior to the expiration of your certification, please notify the Training Center.
