TVA'S Nantel Training is now being held at the training center, there is limited room, so call the training center for more information.

 Welding Certifications, will be on wednesdays 7:30 am until 4:00pm. Any MEMBER interested in obtaining weld test certifications should contact James Lockhart at the Training Center @ 423)698-4198 for an appointment. If your certifications are within 1 month of expiring, and if your not sure about the continuity book call James Lockhart at the training center.

Things to bring to a welding test; welding hood, wire brush, chipping hammer, flashlight, chisel & small ball peen hammer, gloves.

 Union Meeting will be 01/16/2012 @ 7:30 pm

All Apprentices should attend the union meetings that are held every 3rd Monday starting at 7:30 pm. All hours obtained through Union meetings count towards your classroom training.There will be a serious issue for the members to be informed on this month, so every member is encouraged to attend the Union Meeting.

Classes to be held in January 2012:

Apprenticeship classes will begin Jan. 05, 2012 at 6:00 pm

TVA's Nantel Classes and Testing, Southern Company's Powersafe Training and Testing are being held on Mondays and Tuesdays from 7:30 am- 4:00pm.

 If your not sure when your training expires , come by the apprentice hall and check your training dates.

Welding practice on Tuesday & Thursday nights starting @ 6:00pm .

 

The 40 hour Crane Course, will resume 21 January at 8:00 am. This is a Journeyman upgrade class for those that attended the 40 hour Rigging for Ironworkers in the fall of 2011.
